ABRASIVE FILAMENT BRUSH - DEBURRING AND FINISHING RANGE

Abrasive brush filaments are manufactured by extruding a mixture of polymer and abrasive grain. The Nylon
Abrasive filament to be used for any application is determined by the substrate to be worked upon.

       BRUSH FILLING FILAMENT:

The Abrasive grains may be one of four different types of abrasive:

ALUMINIUM OXIDE (AO) is a tough grain, less aggressive, typically used in polishing applications requiring a
scratch line pattern on multiple Base materials.
SILICON CARBIDE (SIC) is a sharp-edged grain that produces an effective cutting action. It is the most common
grain used in industrial grade brushes. It gives intensive results when deburring and surface improvement
       applications.
CERAMIC FILAMENT is an engineered abrasive grain that produces a superior cutting action. It is the most
effective grain in terms of aggressiveness. Compatible with most metal surface. IMEXSU has 2 grades of filament in
this range – Ceramic 1 and Ceramic 2.
DIAMOND FILAMENT is a sharp-edged grain typically used on hard materials like diamond, ceramic, CBN and

       glass.
HP SERIES FILAMENT a proprietary abrasive filament developed by IMEXSU with years of experience and
in-depth application knowledge and study. A unique combination of abrasive grain and grit size produces an
effective cutting action and intensive product output. 20 different variants are available in this product line from a
coarse grit size to a very fine grit size.
