WHAT ARE BURRS?

Every time you do any type of machining or fabrication, burrs or sharp edges get formed. These sharp edges are a
potential liability either of the finished product, or as a safety issue for the end-user. Therefore, Burrs must be
removed after machining or fabrication for reasons as below:

Functional – to perform better and enhance the output.

Aesthetic reasons – smoother rounded edges look better than crooked, also the wear-and-tear of a
smoother surface is almost negligible and as we say:

“A perfectly finished product is when it is burr free and polished”

Therefore, it is always highly recommended to equip deburring services after any type of machining and fabrication.
